Pomar Junction Vineyard and Winery is one of four rail-themed wineries featured in special CCRRF excursions this weekend put together by the Wine Wrangler. Trips start in Paso Robles at the Amtrak Station with Wine Wrangler bus tour to these rail-themed wineries: Anglim, Pomar Junction, Le Vigne, and D'Anbino Cellars. Lunch at Le Vigne and then bus/train down to the SLO Amtrak Station and back to Paso Amtrak Station. Tickets now available at the Wine Wrangler for $59 per person (see their web site for details). On the way back from Nash's model railroad layout, this CCRRF photographer stopped for some photos at Pomar Junction Vineyard and Winery. Their tasting room is open 11am to 5pm Thursday through Monday.
Pomar Junction wine club members have the opportunity to take the cruise/tour pictured in the photo above in July 2011.
