VIP Reception and Concert

VIP meet and greet Reception with David Holt and Robert Van Camp at 6:30pm followed by a program from Robert entitled "Celebrating North Americas Tourist Railways and Museums" which is a tribute to the men and women that help preserve and present our railroad heritage and keep it alive today for all to enjoy. VIP Guests also attended David's concert which followed immediately.

"Train Songs, Hobo Secrets and Tales of the Rails" was the 8:00pm concert featuring a wide variety of Appalachian and railroad music and stories from David Holt. For over forty years, David has been collecting and performing the songs and stories of the Blue Ridge Mountains. He has learned this treasure trove of music directly from musical greats like Roy Acuff, Grandpa Jones, Tommy Jarrell, Etta Baker and toured the country with the legendary Doc Watson for 15 years.

Robert Van Camp introduced each of the special segments he shared with the group.

The Masonic Lodge is an incredible building in San Luis Obispo, celebrating its 100th anniversary next week.
